don't care whose name is used cheyenne or jaime her writting is still chock full of good charecter development and very hot plots. a real bargain of 4 books in one with each charecter getting her "man" when you need alittle erotic fun this author is it. lady l.

Is a great novella. About 3 very different girlfriends that are all members to a BDSM club. Two of the women are up for a weekend getaway auction to raise money for a charity. Each of the submissive women's story is about what steamy things that occurs on their weekend with the very dominate males that purchase them. The 3rd girlfriend is a dominatrix's that is looking to buy a marine that is up for auction. This woman enjoys bringing dominate men to heel. Of course, she is the highest bidder. When their weekend begins the marine lets her take control but, soon the tables are turned and he dominates her. She soon finds out that she is willing to give up control to this one and only man.

Illness and other occupations, however, interfered, and, after a lapse of about two years, he died, leaving the papers, of which no use had been made by him, to fall into the possession of others. Only after long delay and considerable trouble and expense was I able to recover them and realize my long-cherished purpose. Further delay in the publication of this book has arisen from my having been compelled, as my father's executor, to make three long and laborious journeys to Brazil, which have engrossed much time

In ye which wildernis liuid many holy fathers, as it apperith in vitas patrum. The people—” But here, I fancy, he suddenly broke off; what did he know of the Egyptian people? Greece was the nearest he had ever been to Egypt. Going, however, for a stroll through his native county of Sussex, he presently lights on a band of “right Egyptians,” belike in front of an alehouse. Egyptians! the very thing! Like any newspaper correspondent of to-day, he must straightway have whipped out his notebook, and jotted down the rest of his chapter:—“The people of the country be swarte, and doth go disgisid in theyr apparel, contrary to other nacions. This book is a good introduction to multiple imputation

This book is a good introduction to multiple imputation. I found it easy to read and practical. I like that the book presents several applications with data analysis softwares (like SPSS). The authors also compares several techniques of data imputations and explains why multiple imputation is the best approach.

This "book" is not even worth 5 dollars as all this information can be found online for free (there are free videos on youtube saying exactly what is in this book). I thought this book would have more helpful information, but no! What a waste of 5 dollars!

About the Author
Ellery Queen was a pen name created and shared by two cousins, Frederic Dannay (1905–1982) and Manfred B. Lee (1905–1971), as well as the name of their most famous detective. Born in Brooklyn, they spent forty-two years writing, editing, and anthologizing under the name, gaining a reputation as the foremost American authors of the Golden Age “fair play” mystery. Although eventually famous on television and radio, Queen’s first appearance came in 1928, when the cousins won a mystery-writing contest with the book that was later published as The Roman Hat Mystery. Their character was an amateur detective who uses his spare time to assist his police inspector uncle in solving baffling crimes. Besides writing the Queen novels, Dannay and Lee cofounded Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, one of the most influential crime publications of all time. Although Dannay outlived his cousin by nine years, he retired Queen upon Lee’s death.

Vintage Ellery Queen - Good Plot and Eccentric Characters

I quite enjoyed The Egyptian Cross Mystery. I developed several plausible solutions, but none which I could clearly prove through a sequence of logical deductions. I had possibilities, I had partial solutions, and I had pieces of evidence, but I was unable to establish an irrefutable chain of logic. And as fans of Ellery Queen know, deduction requires the application of impeccable logic. For the record: none of my possibilities, nor partial solutions, were correct. I was surprised by the solution.
The Egyptian Cross Mystery offers a fast-paced unpredictable plot, a plethora of eccentric characters, and brilliant deductions by Ellery himself. I give it five stars.
The Egyptian Cross Mystery is a good introduction to Ellery Queen. In this fifth novel the young Ellery Queen can still be insufferable on occasion, although the presence of his college professor, Dr. Yardley, checks his impulse to exhibit his erudition. Ellery remains baffled by the bizarre murders as does the reader. A final clue hidden among detail suddenly provides Ellery, and the particularly observant reader (not me, however), the key to the mystery. Stay alert for the final clue, despite deliberate distractions and misdirection.
Ellery Queen's investigations take him on long, tiring road trips in his beloved Duesenberg. Each destination is a gruesome murder site. A decapitated victim is found lashed to a post. A capital letter T is scrawled in blood nearby. Using more guesswork than logic, Ellery senses some obscure connection to ancient Egyptian myth.
I always enjoy the early Ellery Queen stories, those mysteries dating from 1929 through 1939. My other early favorites, for comparison purposes, include The Greek Coffin Mystery, The Siamese Twin Mystery, The Spanish Cape Mystery, and two Drury Lane mysteries, The Tragedy of X and The Tragedy of Y.

The Case of the Human T's

I would have given this a higher rank but, as God is my witness, I just can't stand the way Ellery talks sometimes. And that Professor Yardley, his college mentor, is just as bad. In fact if Yardley is responsible for Ellery's affacted mannerisms, then he should be made a public example of. It's like James Stewart in ROPE and his evil effect on the two innocent boys John Dall and Farley Granger whom he turned into killers with his Nietzschean philosophy. Here it's Yardley's ridiculous circumlocutions and archaic oaths and painful bon mots.

The story puzzled me and i was genuinely surprised by how it came out, but after my glow of surprise I had second thoughts about the whole enterprise.

SPOILERS AHEAD!

It seems almost criminal that we had to waste so much time keeping up with the nudist colony and the convoluted love lives of the Brads amd the Lincolns and those British people. Chapter after chapter of just plain garbage, and none of it germane to the story or the plotting--just plain old padding. Padding's too good a word for it.

Also, Ellery and Yardley sure make a lot of deductions based on the "fact" that no man would put another man's pipe in his mouth if he could possibly help it. Where'd all this homosexual panic come from?

SPOILERS OVER.

I don't know what's more risible, but the hillbilly dialect is an insult to realism. But it's like reading Hemingway compared to the way the sailors talk. "What time did that happen, Cap'n Swift?" "Seven bells." "Oh, I see, eleven-thirty."

Nevertheless, I liked the bloody and grim Montenegro story, maybe because I'm a guy--seems like all the reviewers are male--a chromosomal thing? I wonder how Qyueen was actually able to get away with so much blood and guts--it's like TALES FROM THE CRYPT squared. More vomiting than you'd see on choppy waters on a liferaft. It's just swimming with fluids.

Great mystery

This is one of Queen's best mysteries. I have read most of the early ones that had the name of a country it, such as The Roman Hat mystery or The Dutch Shoe Mystery. The Greek Coffin Mystery was another great one. Most of his early books I enjoyed.

The only one I would NOT recommend is "On the Eighth Day".

Classic Erotica

It's a story about a teenage boy dressed as a girl in a convent. You can imagine how thrilled the sisters are. There is non-stop action, with one young nun telling a long story about her sexual adventures. There is no spirituality in this book, in case you're wondering. What I liked best is the English usage: no filthy language, just proper English.

I do like sexy books

If you have an ounce of religion in you, steer clear of this caper. The writer has tried, and often quite successfully, to cram into his pages as many "sex" words linked together by blunt "sex" actions (within every level of a nunnery) --- as is possible. I do like sexy books, just don't like sex books. There is a difference. I am not titillated by a string of words but rather of the anticipation of the actions, the uplifting of a belief that something "sexy" is about to happen, with warmth, love, passion, excitement, etc etc. You get the gist? This book fails in that department.
However, if you like in-you-face-shoot-from-the-hip sex...this may be for you.

Some people refuse to explore the spiritual realm,because they think its all brainwashing.But if you look into Christianity you will find basic truths.Take the word of Jesus for example,no normal person could of done what he did,and said what he did.People who are in faith reap the rewards from the spirit,the evidence is there if you actually look for it.Take a good look at those commandments,how well thought out were they.Whats more amazing is that no matter how many centuries go past,the commandments live on,and are very valid today.Here is an example of how the spirit works,an interesting read.

As i read this book i kept on sharing tears, thinking for the years i've led a lurid passed life and God has given me grace till this day that i'm a born again. I would've been in hell by now, having my share of the cake of punishment. I've dreaming and thinking about hell, as i walk, sleeping etc. I don't want to be there, and i pray God to give me enomous strength to do His will till the day i will leave this earth. I find no happeness, because the battle is continuous and happiness will only when we are victorious.
May God bless Mary K. Baxter.
But, does God allow a woman to be a preacher. Can i have an answer to this question.
