Review:

As the second book in the Outside Series, I was unsure what to expect. I read book one right before this one and enjoyed it, so I was hoping this one would be just as good. I was very happy with it. The writing flowed just as easily. I was able to totally understand and relate to each character, loving how they developed as the story progressed.

I loved Riley. She is the heroine of the story. The young lady who wants to help make the world a better place. She does not live in a bubble, but she has lived in a protected world. It seemed Riley had no fears. She was able to put her own safety to the side and put her life on the line in order to save the others in the novel. She was also so compassionate towards others. The world she lived in is so different than the world we live in, but it could be our future, and she embraced it and all that it entailed. Riley has all the characteristics that our young adults now should wish to have.

Luc was also amazing. He not only stood up for his family and friends, but he put himself in dangerous situations to help total strangers. He also was extremely protective of Riley and I am itching to see where their relationship heads, as there were hints of the feelings they have for each other. He was a young man with manners, feelings, and so brave and daring.

The ending of the book had an amazing twist, I never saw it coming. It was definitely a cliffhanger, leaving you wanting more. The Clearing is perfect for anyone looking for adventure on a future Earth.

They just keep getting better

After reading book 1 in this series i didn't think it could get any better. Color me wrong. This book was epic. Rileys story continues, Fred and Jessie make another appearance and the tension between Riley and Luc keeps on building, and we also get Liss and Freddy Jrs back story of how they got abducted.

*****Spoilers*****

Riley and Luc have to re-enter the Cathedral Close to try and find Liss and FJ, with the help of Denzil and Connor. Along the way we find Liss has resisted the brain washing while on the flip side FJ has accepted it hook, line and sinker. Liss has taken a young girl Annabelle under her wing and is determined to keep Annabelle safe and escape with her. Riley, Luc, Denzil and Connor are the rescue team, but one of them will not make it out alive.

All in all if i could give this book more stars i would. I would totally recommend this book to everyone (in fact i have been :))

A racy,raunchy but immensely readable autobiography of Frank Harris.Harris is a consummate story-teller & raconteur with a vivid style.An energetic and accomplished dilletante he recounts his childhood in stuffy Victorian England groping underneath a skirt at the first available opportunity ("her bottom was like a warm marble"!) to his trip across the pond to America ,where he worked as a cowboy,clerk and lawyer among other things.He had an amazing memory and acquired a lot of erudition,seemingly effortlessly.Anecdotes of Ruskin,Randolph Churchill,Rodin among a score of others are sprinkled liberally .His refreshing honesty,contempt for humbug & hypocrisy along with boundless energy and optimism makes this a great read.It makes for a leisurely read and is best savored during the hot, long summer after dinner___ over a cigar!

What can you say about THE CLASSIC ...

I really don't know how many of My Life and Loves volumes have been sold worldwide but it seems to me that most of my friends in different countries all found this book in their dads library and usually well hidden behind other books.....
The five volume book of almost 1000 pages is a faboulous look into 19th century world and a compendium of famous and not so famous people of the era ,,,
Not only does the author deal with socio-economic and religious thoughts and beliefs of the time but he takes the dryness out of historial perspective by peppering the book with numerous erotic escapades of the tenderest nature ....
If all history books were as good as this one I would have certainly gotten a PHd in History .....
This book is a MUST HAVE for your erotic library ... AND it's one of the few classic erotics that will NEVER go out of print!

Enthralling celebration of heterosexuality

Frank Harris' tale begins with his humble origins and voyage to America culminating in financial reward and subsequent return to England. His bravado and financial capability open Harris to a world of erotic pleasure, voyage, gourmandise and to a number of encounters with interesting people of his era. Frank Harris stood by his friend Oscar Wilde until the latters' demise. Faithful both financially and compassionately, Harris is a hands down man of the world and lover of humanity. I read this book thirty years ago to much pubescent excitation and reread it a while back as a father of four and earnest husband. The effect was the same; interesting lives make for interesting people and VICE versa.

Not as good as the reviews

Tiny Dancer was my first purchased of a book by this author. I bought the book solely based on the summary and reviews. I know people get attached to authors, sometimes to the point they can't see the forest for the trees. To say this book was a disappointment would be an understatement.

The dialogue between the lovers while they were being intimate was silly. Who talks like that, teenagers? About half way through the story I started losing interest because I saw a trend; Quinten was getting way more of Cam's time than Ben. It just seem like the author was was more interested in the character Quinten, so Ben was an afterthought. Ben was the outsider in the menage, it didn't get better as the story went on, he seem to always step aside to let Quinten make love with Cam. What was up with that? That didn't make him seem dominate, it just made him seem weak. Even when he talks to Quinten about Cam's need for domination, he sounds like he's asking permission although the author went out of her way to say he wasn't. Well, if she wanted someone to believe that, she should have written it better.

Ben is the one who has no family, yet Quinten not only get most of Cam's time, he gets to impregnate her with twins, pass on his family name and marry her. Doesn't that seem more than a tad one sided?
What does Ben get? Oh, a chance to have sex with his buddy's wife sometimes, while mostly watching from the sidelines.

It wasn't a well written story. The plot was lame and took very view pages. It just seem to be something to flow around the sex, which, again, wasn't particularly well written. There are several authors who write sex scenes much, much, better.

A couple things bothered me about the relationship. The first is that no one seemed to be concerned about what Ben wanted or needed aside from sex. Cam wanted the domination, which really didn't happened, but that was for her as much as the author tried to push that this was a part of Ben's personality. It sure didn't show in his actions or personality. I know he wasn't a professional Dom, but neither was he assertive IN the relationship, he made everyone else happy.

The other thing was in the Epilogue when Quinten thanked Ben for letting him marry Cam. That speech Ben gave was lame and another example of him sounding like a door mat and Quinten showed himself to be a selfish bastard. In the same breath that he thank him, he told Ben that he wouldn't have done the same for him.

In the end I didn't find either of the men likeable. I have to say I haven't read this kind of book in a few years. I thought they would get better, but they are still just as repetitious with the plots and relationships. There should be some law against writing a series, all you need to do is just insert different names. It all ends up being the same.

Ben and Quinten want Camilla, bad. But she has a rule and they don’t want to ruin things with her before anything ever gets started. Leave it to a little competition to finally make them show Camilla that some rules are made to be broken.

Camilla is a sassy, energetic assistant manager at the club Ben co-owns, and Quinten works at as head bartender. She is great at what she does and when she starts wearing “costumes” to work, the men are positive it’s just to tease them. Of course it brings in more customers and gains more tips for her but it also makes control a hard to reach thing for Ben and Quinten. They have both lusted over this woman for years and decided to partner up and build a life in hopes of Camilla one day joining them.

A series of shady events bring the threesome together outside of work, and for Camilla the line she had drawn in the sand–work is work and pleasure is pleasure–is starting to blur. But she’s had feelings for both men for a while and decides to take the bulls by the horns. All the while Camilla is getting closer to realizing her dream of opening her own club with the help of a guardian angel, and some really great friends. Danger is lurking and Camilla struggles to let her men protect her and keep her safe because no one has ever cared enough too. The men work to destroy the walls she’s built, yet she manages to complete and heal the men at the same time.

Tiny Dancer is another great addition to the Divine Creek family. Ben and Quiten are great characters individually but together they are like the two halves of the ying and yang and Camilla is the energy that sets it spinning. Ben is dark and intense as Quiten is light an easy going while Camilla is like the sun and full of energy and brightness. This trio is a wonderful compliment to each other, probably the best of all.

One of the things I really liked about this book is that Camilla was a very sensual person and she really embraced that. We typically see heroines needing to be brought out of their shell, a la Grace from book one or Dr. Emma from book 9, but here Camilla was not only a former exotic dancer but also part of the lifestyle that is BDSM. I felt that this particular book was more sexually charged overall whereas most of the previous books start off sweet and loving before turning the sex factor up to full blast. Camilla, Ben and Quinten scorch the pages from beginning to end.

Heather Rainier has done a great job again with adding interesting secondary characters, setting up potential protagonists for future books and not recycling any previous tales in her ever expanding city of Divine, Texas. I personally think it should be called Smexyville R US, where there is something in the water they should bottle and sell. But that’s just me.

I don’t think I can sing anymore praises for this book or series, so if you are not reading it you are missing out. But if you are with me on this ride, you’ll know how excited I am to see where we go next.

Another great trip to Divine, Texas

As always Ms. Heather has taken us on another wonderful trip to Divine. Not only do we get to meet and learn of Ben, Quinten and Camilla story but old characters are brought back and some new ones introduced (especially, 3 handsome bouncers!) Can't wait for the next trip to Divine!

PAYNE PLEASURE PERFECTION!

Bewitch is the 5th book in the Vampire Erotic Theatre series.

The book centers around Payne, a half breed Vampire Incubus and his forbidden witch, Elissa. From the moment he meets her he Covets her. Going through some interesting interludes they Crave each other and Seduce each other.

I have read the other four books in this series and when I read a new one it becomes my new favorite. Felicity has a way to make her characters grab my heart with a vengeance. Bewitch could be a standalone but I feel it is best that you read the whole series in order to introduce yourself with the other wickedly sexy characters in the series. It will enhance the story even more.
Prepare yourself for steamy sexual encounters. It is not for the faint of heart because your heart will be stolen by Payne and your blood pressure will likely rise due to the sizzling erotic episodes. Payne is wonderful hero.

Tormented by his past, he hates what he is. He is far more vulnerable than my usual perception of a vampire and that just makes me love him even more.
It really is perfect. A dark tortured vampire, a beautiful loving strong woman, mystery, mayhem, fight scenes, sex, love and unconditional loyalty. Payne and Elissa's story will surely Bewitch you and make you want more.

Sexy Hot Must Read

The writing genius Felicity Heaton delivers in Bewitch which is the fifth installment in her very sexy Vampire Erotic Theatre Series, and let me just say it's just as hot.
With both Payne and Elissa seeking to keep promises, while fighting their craving for one another helps set up this hot and steamy, yet emotional bond between the pair that not only drew me into their world, but held me spell bound to the end.
The raw intense passion of Payne was not only shocking, but so sensual it only added to his sexiness and appeal, added with Elissa unwavering determination and unconditional love this book will have you under its spell.

Love will find a way

On his search to help his friends Payne finds more than he is looking for. The witch Elissa may know where to find the one thing that can help his friends but can she help Payne himself? As the two begin their adventure they must not only stay safe but they must also try to figure out their feelings for each other and what to do with them.

I really enjoyed meeting Payne and Elissa. They make a wonderful couple. Elissa is a strong woman who loves with all her heart. She sees the man that Payne truly is, never letting him push her away. Payne is a great man who has been through so much in his life yet never stops giving to others. Watching the two struggle through not only their own pain but the frightening idea that they could be mates made for a beautiful read. Not only do Elissa and Payne make an impression on the reader but the secondary characters do as well making the reader excited to return to this mystical world again. Not only was this a hot read but it is also full of emotions and a beautiful romance.
