A HOT read!!!!!

Book 1: I loved this book, it was very sexy and fast paced. The story is set in a forested, remote region of Canada which reminds me of the atmospheric forests around Forks in 'Twilight', of course there are other similarities to that book too - namely VAMPIRES! This story is quite different from Twilight Twilight (The Twilight Saga, Book 1) though - it's shorter and more happens for a start, I found Twilight abit drawn out at times. Plus - this story has sex - which in my opinion Twilight is lacking!! The main character is a woman in her twenties who has children, so this immediately creates a different focus compared with the normal vampire fiction - there are no high schools! This gives this story an edge and makes it unique. It's fairly cheesy, but in an easy reading fun kinda way, and very easy to get quickly lost in. It had my heart pounding in anticipation for about half of it! In a way it's more like watching a film, or even more so - an episode of 'The Vampire Diaries' The Vampire Diaries: The Complete First Season, as it moves at a similar pace and is full of hot vampires - the lead man reminded me of Damon who is utterly sexy - in the books and in the tv show.
Book 2: Another great book! This one carried on from the first at lightning speed and had me hooked straight back into the world of sexy vampires and dangerous goings on. This book plunged you deeper into a darker world and had me literally glued to my seat as I couldn't take my eyes off the page! Just as easy to read as the first one, and I'm sure anyone who liked that would absolutely love this one too, as would any Vampire Diaries The Awakening / The Struggle (Vampire Diaries, Books 1-2) fans out there. It was very exciting!!

Fantastic! I've read both of these books in their seperate editions so thought would post a review on the combined version. I loved the first one (The Guest) so much I had to buy The Change as soon as it was out. It is very compulsive and absorbing - I'm impatient for the next one already!

This book was spell binding, very difficult to put down. Very much looking forward to the next book written. The changes in Sarah's life keep everything going at a fast pace.
